A Sami Reindeer Adventure

Experience the thrill of Reindeer Sledding as you glide through the snow-covered landscapes for 25-30 minutes. At the camp, you’ll also have the opportunity to feed the herd of around 300 reindeer, who will swarm around you and may even eat from your hands. You’ll also learn how to use the lasso (but not on real reindeer).

Afterward, you’ll be invited to a traditional Gamme to enjoy a mouthwatering Sami meal cooked over the fire, along with warm drinks. Vegetarian options are also available.

In the Lavvu, gather around the fire with your Sami guide and listen to fascinating stories about Sami culture and the life of a reindeer herder. You’ll also be treated to a soulful performance of a Joik, a traditional Sami song.
